Produced from Sam Rose`s own vineyard on the banks of the Wairau river, this rich Viognier has a subtle yet complex nose with aromas of apricots and lime marmalade. Only 10% of this wine was aged in french barriques to give a slightly fuller and luxurious texture. These characters translate generously onto the palate and are complemented by a rich soft texture. Made in a dry style with fleshy fruit and balancing acidity.
