Produced from the Wairau region of Marlborough (one of New Zealand`s driest and sunniest areas). This wine is aged in a combination of new and old fine grain French oak for 10 months. This cherry coloured wine has clean fresh fruit aromas on the nose. The palate has ripe red fruit characters of plums, cherries and raspberries along with smoky oak and well integrated, supple tannins. A medium bodied wine with a sustained and elegant finish.
