Southern Burgundy and the Cote Chalonnaise in particular, remains the
home of Burgundy`s finest Aligoté grapes. In the hands of a talented winemaker,
these crisp dry whites can take on added dimensions. An expressive wine with
hints of aniseed and fennel on the nose and a soft, creamy palate feel. It has
good weight, is richer than much Aligoté, and leaves mineral and zesty finish.
