This balanced and smooth Malbec comes from Apalta and Marchigüe, arguably two of the finest sites in the Colchagua Valley. Powerful yet well-balanced, it has characteristic chunky Malbec fruit, solid tannins and a smoky finish. This wine is deep ruby red in colour with violet hues. Aromas of ripe blackberries and blueberries appear first, followed by sweet spices such as nutmeg and black pepper. A clear note of violets blends with a hint of liquorice. The palate is well balanced and elegant with smooth tannins and a long, lingering finish.
