Bourgogne Aligote 2007 Pierre Morey

    The total area of the domaine is 11 hectares, distributed in different parcels located in the districts of Monthelie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and, of course Meursault. All the vineyards were cultivated following organic agricultural practices from 1992 to 1997, at the end of this period the domaine became 100% biodynamic.
    All the vineyards from Domaine Pierre Morey producing Bourgogne Aligoté are located in the Meursault area in relatively deep, clay and chalk soils. Bourgogne Aligoté is a dry wine, with a good acidity and a medium strength. Maturing is mostly done in tanks during 12 months, to promote freshness and fruit aromas. Usually, Bourgogne Aligoté is an early wine but coming from Domaine Pierre MOREY, it can be kept for many years !
